Brazilian Volleyball Confederation logo

The Works new Brazilian partnership with Rio based Effect Sport has secured its first commission.

The project is a redesign of the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV). Works/Effect Sport successful pitch met the brief’s requirements to present a modern and easily recognisable design that echoes the organisation’s core values of professionalism, effectiveness and trust.

The logo was launched at the inauguration of CBV’s new headquarters at the Riocentre Convention Centre.

Raising funds for Alzheimers

The Works’ New Business Manager Paul Peppiate is running in the IAAF’s Great North Run on the 13th September.

Paul lost his Father to dementia earlier this year and is raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. The Works is pleased to donate to the cause and wishes Paul a speedy finish – albeit probably a little way behind the likes of Mo Farah and Mary Keitany

Football For Peace

The Works has become a partner for the Football For Peace movement. The organisation, founded 9 years ago, invites and gathers ‘footballers for peace’ from all over the world to help create understanding through football.

One of it’s key initiatives is the playing of Peace Matches between different countries that have experienced conflict. The Works has produced event branding for the 2015 Peace Match featuring players from Afghanistan and Great Britain. The match is being hosted by the Royal Navy’s hospital ship, RFA Argus.

We are busy developing new brand assets for the 2016 Finals in Lyon, plus a third, qualifiers competition brand.
