Solheim Cup

Commissioned by the LEP (Ladies European Tour) on behalf of the Solheim Family, we were asked to refine and re-model the existing Solheim Cup Logo.

The main focus was to maintain the prestigious form of the Waterford Crystal trophy, to make the logo more user friendly for production on items such as merchandise and graphically portray the nationalities of Europe and USA coming together for this womens professional golf competition.


Works Digital 

The Works are proud to announce that we are delivering our first mobile app services.

Works digital, our newest department, has been commissioned by a leading Premier League football club to deliver live imaging and audio streaming software which is launching at the start of the 2014/15 season.

Integrating development and coding into our existing skill-set is a reaction to demand for us to add bespoke digital services to our 25 years experience in brand, motion and event design, and represents a natural progression for the company.


FIVB Broadcast packages

The Works have been selected to deliver the full TV broadcast packages for FIVB’s two flagship World Championship competitions, to be held in Poland & Italy this autumn.

To compliment the brand identity and official look created by the Works for the two competitions, we are currently underway producing the broadcast toolkits.

The project involves title sequence design and production, original musical scores, bumpers, wipes and a full suite of onscreen match graphics across the two tournaments. These official broadcast toolkits will be delivered to international broadcasters covering the Men’s & Women’s events.


Strategic partnership with Leaders

New event experience works for Leaders as the Works is chosen to deliver the customer experience at all future events

The Works is delighted to announce a strategic partnership with global events and networking business Leaders. The collaboration will see the Works oversee the customer experience at all Leaders events for the next 2 years.

James Worrall, CEO, Leaders commented, “With a wealth of experience and client roster in sport which is second to none, there is no better agency than the Works to achieve this and we are delighted to have agreed a long term partnership with Roy and his team”.


Allianz Parque

We were commissioned by Wtorre, Brazil to create a unique visual identity for their new multipurpose Arena – Allianz Parque.

The new visual identity has been carefully designed, reflecting the elegant Allianz Parque Logo and using architectural details from the stadium itself. The new Secondary Branding for Allianz Parque Stadium is flexible to accommodate a wide range of formats and applications. A family of assets has been created to maximise the exposure of this new Secondary Brand.


Teppan 260 brand

Works have just finished branding ‘Teppan 260′, a new Restaurant in Leeds city centre.

Teppan 260 is designed as a fast paced restaurant with a unique take on how the food is cooked and presented, the task was to display the unique 260º hot plate method employed by the restaurant along with the speed of cooking time. You can read an article on the new restaurant here: Link


Copa America Centenario USA 2016

Tuesday 13th May was the official unveiling of our logo design created for the Copa America Centenario to be held in the USA 2016.

The Presidents of both Concacaf and Conmebol were present at the glittering Univision Upfront event in the Al Hirschfield Theatre, New York City. The Copa America Centenario will be the largest sporting event to be held in the USA since the 1996 Olympics. The Copa America Centenario celebrates 100 years of the Copa America and will be hosted for the first time outside of South America. SportsPro magazine April 2014

We have entered into a year long collaboration with SportsPro magazine, as part of our 25 year celebrations & to promote our business in this landmark year.

The April 2014 edition features our 25 Years of Creativity advert, a full page devoted to our branding work with FIH Hockey World League plus a Q&A article featuring our many & varied projects with FIBA.

We welcome Andy to our team!

We are pleased to welcome Andy Dawson to our expanding Motion team as Head of 3D. Originally from ‘up north’, Andy has made the move back up from the deep south and brings with him an abundance of skills and experience in broadcast animation and vfx. Having worked on various projects for Hugo Boss, Sky, CBeebies, History Channel and Disney, he is excited to also now be working with some of our sports federation clients on several exciting upcoming projects. We are already having lots of fun creating some new CGI mascots to play football with on a lunchtime!


Works Ltd is 25 years old!

We are proud to be celebrating 25 years in the creative design industry. Its been a long journey with many twists and turns, but we are still here – bigger and hungrier than ever, so its time to celebrate and talk about ourselves for a change.

We work with the world’s greatest Sporting Federations and their partners on the world’s biggest competitions, but we also work with Associations, organizations, Museums, SMEs and individuals on smaller, but no less important projects. Regardless of the size of the job, we pride ourselves in always going that extra mile in order to deliver the best creative result, giving to each the same level of thought and passion. It is this spirit and dedication that has guided us though all 25 years of creativity and its been a lot of fun along the way.


Sports Event Management Conference 2013

The Works continues our presence at important sports event conferences with attendance at the 2013 ISEM Conference in London.

Networking and raising our own brand awareness is ever more important in the sports business sector and this year, as creative sponsor, we had the honour to present special awards to the great and the good. Self promotion and the forging of new links with leading figures and organisations in the sporting world is the first step to growing new business, winning new projects, gaining new clients.
